Graduate Gail discovered a new sense of confidence after completing Jesuit Community College’s Barista and Café Operations course. What once felt daunting now feels possible – and with her barista and hospitality skills in hand, she’s ready to take the next step toward work and independence.
Max’s time volunteering at Ignite Café has helped him grow in confidence and resilience. He’s learned how to take feedback in stride, stay motivated after setbacks, and believe in his ability to find work. With support from Jesuit Social Services, Max is now focused on securing his first job.
Celeste joined Jesuit Community College’s Garden Pathways program through a Community Corrections Order. Over the course she built confidence in her learning, found pride in her achievements, and strengthened her sense of herself as a mother. She has since gone on to enrol in further study.
Andres gained hands-on experience through our Café Operations course. He found the hands on nature of the course helped him to practice his new skills and grow in confidence.
